GreenPeak opens new office in Mumbai

 

The leading smart home and Internet of Things (IoT) semiconductor company GreenPeak, which is based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, has announced the opening of a new office in Mumbai, India. The branch has been established in response to the growing demand for innovative RF chips for the operator/service provider and smart home market. GreenPeak’s Asia-Pacific presence already includes offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Seoul.

The market report from Deloitte on “Technology, Media & Telecommunications India Predictions” states that India has a large base of 500M internet capable devices and also boasts a large and growing market for home appliances and devices which are or could be web-enabled. The researchers believe that India could be a test market for many relevant IoT applications.
