Good booking situation for LOPEC 2022

The outlook is good for LOPEC, held on 22-24 March 2022 at the ICM at the Messe München Exhibition Centre: More than 130 exhibitors from 21 countries have already registered for this leading international trade fair and conference for printed electronics. Alongside Germany, the top exhibitor countries are France, the United States, The Netherlands and Italy.

LOPEC 2022 will thus follow on seamlessly from the good results of the last in-person LOPEC trade fair in 2019, as Armin Wittmann, exhibition director of LOPEC confirms: “The current number of registrations among exhibitors and conference presentations demonstrates that LOPEC 2022 will pick up where it left off in 2019. The industry wants to meet face to face and is eagerly looking forward to the event in March, just like we are.”

It is not just the high level of international participation that is encouraging but also the large number of industry heavyweights. Alongside Coatema, DuPont Teijin Films, Eastman Kodak, ELANTAS, Evonik Operations, Hamamatsu Photonics, and Heidelberg Printed Electronics, other companies including Henkel, Heraeus, Kroenert, NovaCentrix, OES, Panasonic, Siemens, TNO/Holst or Varta Microbattery will also be at LOPEC 2022.

With around 200 presentations at this year’s conference, LOPEC will of course once again present itself as the world’s leading communication platform for new products and applications as well as the latest research results. The conference modules comprise various formats such as plenary sessions, business conference, technical conference, scientific conference, short courses, and poster sessions. A special attention will be on the focus topics “Smart Living” and “Mobility.” This year, LOPEC will also be putting the spotlight on the sustainable qualities of flexible, organic and printed electronics for the first time with the overarching topic of “Sustainability.” These topics will be the central focus of the exhibition, talks and the Innovation Showcase.

Another highlight is also the offering for start-ups, namely the Start-up Area: A joint stand right in the thick of the exhibition, and the Start-up Forum, where young entrepreneurs and start-ups can present their ideas, concepts and products to the industry and investors in short talks.

One new organisational aspect is the altered access to the trade fair and conference which, for the first time, will be via the West Entrance of Messe München and, from there, lead directly into the ICM. This access for participants will ensure seamless and secure admission with checks of vaccination certificates, IDs and full registration. Further information on the Messe München protection and hygiene concept is available online. In addition, AUMA always offers up-to-date information on entering Germany.
