Gallus receives prestigious award from Schreiner Group
Schreiner Group (Oberschleißheim, Germany) presented its prestigious "Supplier of the Year" award for the 11th time in November. "This award recognises suppliers who have distinguished themselves through reliability, quality and delivery reliability," says Roland Schreiner, Managing Director of Schreiner Group. This year, the coveted award went to Gallus, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
Gallus, a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, is a global leader in the development, production and sale of narrow-web web presses specialising in label and packaging printing. The company is also increasingly focussing on digital label printing.
Several conventional systems have been delivered to Schreiner Group in recent years. These included a modern Gallus Labelmaster 440, on which the company's trainees can learn their trade.
Schreiner Group has been working with Gallus machines since the 1980s. For example, many millions of forgery-proof and tamper-proof PIN covers with opaque scratch-off ink have been produced on these machines. The Austrian motorway vignette and the multi-layer photo protection film for the German social security card were also among the innovative developments produced on the first Gallus machines. The Swiss quality work, the service and the developments to be able to manufacture special products have always impressed.
In the course of his successful entrepreneurial life, senior partner Helmut Schreiner has built up a close relationship with Ferdinand Rüesch IV, anchor shareholder and member of the Supervisory Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, and therefore gave a laudatory speech in honour of Gallus Ferd. Rüesch AG at the award ceremony.
Today, Gallus printing presses are installed at all four Schreiner Group sites worldwide. "We successfully produce our innovative high-tech labels and functional parts on these modern systems. I am very pleased about the long-standing and trusting cooperation with this top supplier," summarises managing director Roland Schreiner. Christoph Thurl, Purchasing Manager at Schreiner Group, is of the same opinion: "Gallus has proven to be a reliable partner, especially for projects in recent financial years. Its outstanding quality and commitment to customer satisfaction have prompted us to award the company the title of 'Supplier of the Year'."
Ferdinand Rüesch IV, anchor shareholder and member of the Supervisory Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, emphasised the value of this award and expressed his thanks: "We are proud to receive the 'Supplier of the Year' award from Schreiner Group.
