Enfucell introduces new SoftBattery Plus technology

 

Enfucell OY, a supplier of customised batteries for the printed electronics industry based in Vantaa, Finland, has developed a new technology for flexible batteries that has about 50% reduced internal resistance resulting in higher peak currents and longer battery life compared to the conventional SoftBattery.

The new SoftBattery Plus technology is also said to allow a smaller battery design compared to the company’s other solutions. With the new development Enfucell hopes to further strengthen its position on the market for printed batteries.

SoftBattery Plus will for the first time be presented at Printed Electronics Europe trade show in Berlin on 1-2 April 2014.
