embedded world North America returned for its second year
The trade fair in Anaheim, CA, United States, ran from 4 to 6 November 2025 and showed the latest innovations in embedded technology.
With the trade fair’s first appearance in 2024, NürembergMesse was following up on their international edition in China as part of their growth strategy. While North America is home to a large number of events that focus on the electronics industry, none specifically targets embedded technology. In 2025, embedded world North America (ewNA) gathered the leading enterprises of the global embedded industry, with its application range covering automotive electronics, AI, industrial control, IoT, and the medical sector.
“Embedded systems and IoT technologies are at the heart of every major innovation today,” says Dennis Smith, the CEO of NürnbergMesse North America. “Our keynote speakers bring deep technical expertise and forward-looking perspectives that will equip attendees to tackle today’s challenges and prepare for what’s next in embedded technology.”

This year’s event featured technical conference sessions, live demonstrations and networking opportunities next to the keynote presentations by Dario Freddi (Managing Director at SECO) and Joe Fabbre (Vice President Global Technology at Green Hills Software) among others.
One of the live demonstrations that stood out was the latest interactive prototype ultra-low power e-paper display by Ynvisible. Additionally, the company showcased it’s expanding ecosystem, touching the sectors healthcare, supply chain and logistics, industrial monitoring as well as smart digital signage. It is only through engagement with industry leaders, customers and investors, that technology can drive real world impact, according to a statement by Ynvisible’S CEO Ramin Heydarpour.
A look into the future
With roughly 3.800 visitors and 266 exhibitors – a 15% and 30% growth compared to last year respectively, North America is looking very promising for the embedded world brand. As the largest exhibition in its field, the expansion and move to Anaheim was a perfect choice. Building on its success, the trade fair will come back to the Anaheim Convention Center at 22-24 September 2026.
