cynora wins leading edge cluster competition “Forum Organic Electronics”

 

cynora GmbH, a Germany based company focusing on researching innovative organic semiconductors, has won the “Forum Organic Electronics” Award organised by InnovationLab GmbH, a combined platform for research and knowledge transfer in science and business in the German Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.

cynora was able to convince the jury with its cyFlex research project, which is focused on the development and production of flexible, printed, organic light emitting diodes (OLED) based on new emitter materials. In this project the copper based emitter materials developed by cynora are modified into a form suitable for printing. According to the company the advantages of copper as the main material are its favourable price and the availability.
