COPT Center showcases fascinating things from the world of organic and printed electronics at LOPEC 2018

As a central institute for organic electronics, the COPT Center (Cologne, Germany), will be exhibiting once again at LOPEC, the renowned tradeshow for organic and printed electronics, which will take place from 14 to 15 March at ICM, Messe München, Germany. At a common booth, COPT and seven co-exhibitors will present product innovations and fascinating novelties from projects.

From the dekOLED project, the COPT Center reports on the progress made by the consortium in integrating organic light-emitting diodes and electronic control elements into injection moulded and foamed plastic parts. A special feat was achieved in the PoreOLED project, which was successfully completed in 2017: nanoporous materials increased the luminous efficacy of organic light-emitting diodes and produced 50% more light at the same electrical output. These and other fascinating results will be presented by Klaus Meerholz to the international public at the LOPEC conference which will take place in parallel.
