AGFA Specialty Products enters into agreement with MGI

 

Belgian-based AGFA Specialty Products and MGI Digital Technology from France have announced the formal creation of a strategic development agreement aimed at the printed electronics industry. The objective is to combine both AGFA’s unique and complementary chemical know-how and MGI’s industrial know-how to develop and launch the world’s first industrial inkjet solution for the printed electronics market. With this alliance, the companies respond to the growing global industrial demand for printed electronic components.

As part of this partnership, MGI Digital Technology and its subsidiary CERADROP bring their industry expertise and innovative strength in inkjet equipment technology, while AGFA Specialty Products will bring its globally proven experience in the field of conductive inks. These complementarities cover the entire value chain – from equipment, inks, and processes to global support – and are expected to be a key asset for the development of these new solutions.
