On 26 August 2016, the Verband 3DDruck, the German 3D printing association, will host a kick-off workshop at Industriesalon Schönweide. The event caters to companies, institutes and organisations that are active in 3D printing technology as well as interested guests. The association claims to have an interdisciplinary approach.

It is the aim of the Verband 3DDruck to combine all the interests and potentials around 3D printing and to effectively represent them in politics, society and media. The event will include several workshops, which are intended to highlight the opportunities and risks of 3D printing. Market developments in 3D printing, both in the consumer and in the B2B field, will play a major role. Moreover, answers need to be found for questions that concern the society, financing, regulation and data protection.
