Enfucell introduces new SoftBattery Plus technology

Enfucell OY, a supplier of customised batteries for the printed electronics industry based in Vantaa, Finland, has developed a new technology for flexible batteries that has about 50% reduced internal resistance resulting in higher peak currents and longer battery life compared to the conventional SoftBattery.

New efficiency record with 40% transparent organic solar cells

Heliatek GmbH, a German producer of organic solar film, just announced that it has reached a new record in efficiency of transparent solar cells. The company’s latest development allows transparency levels up to 40% while at the same time maintaining an efficiency of 7.2%.
