The FlexTech Alliance, an industry association dedicated to promoting flexible and printed electronics, has announced that Jennifer Ernst, chief strategy officer at Norwegian-based Thinfilm Electronics, has been elected as chair of its governing board. The election is for a two-year term, from 2015 to 2016. As chair of the governing board, Ernst is expected to provide the industry leadership necessary for the successful continuation of FlexTech’s programmes and services. She succeeds Keith Rollins of DuPont Teijin Films, who will remain on the board.

After three show days, the LOPEC, the leading European trade show for printed electronics, has ended with a significant visitor growth. More than 2300 visitors from 42 countries came to Munich’s congress centre ICM from 3 to 5 March. This means an increase by 10%.
