The UK-based Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) has recently welcomed confirmation of a £107M government funding package to help develop technologies for next generation manufacturing. The commitment, announced during a cabinet visit to the North-East, covers a five-year period and will allow CPI to continue its extensive track-record of helping industry bridge the gap between innovation and commercialisation to bring new products and processes to market.

Touch Taiwan Display International, jointly organised by Taiwan Display Union Association (TDUA) and Chan Chao International Co., Ltd., will enter its 7^th edition as Taiwan’s smart display fair in 2018. This year, Touch Taiwan and OPTO Taiwan will run in tandem on 29-31 August on the fourth floor of Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. Smart Manufacturing & Monitech Taiwan will also be held simultaneously, gathering common forces of Taiwan businesses to make the robust technological prowess and supply chain capabilities of the country’s display, optoelectronics, semiconductor and smart manufacturing sectors more visible to the world and create the most influential international display industry event.
