The "Internet of Things" is about to revolutionise our daily lives. An important prerequisite for the functioning of the growing and increasingly differentiated IoT applications is a precisely tailored energy supply. Batteries must last a very long time and their performance has to meet the requirements of the respective use. At the "Embedded World" in Nuremberg from 25 to 27 February 2020, VARTA will show a comprehensive portfolio of battery solutions for the networked world in the Internet of Things in Hall 3A, Stand 717.

The VTT Research Centre of Finland is launching new research activities in the area of digital health as part of the growing wellbeing and health technology ecosystem in Kuopio. The new initiative aims to create state-of-the-art research based especially on the utilisation of health data, generate new digital health innovations and establish global health technology business in Finland and the Kuopio region.
